Payment (+) |
1. What ways can i make a payment? (+) |
> 1a. The easiest way to make payment is by card over the phone, but we also accept Bank transfer or cheque. |
2. Can i pay using American Express? (+) |
> 2a. Unfortunately our card machine does not accept american express. |
3. Can i pay for the job after it has happened? (+) |
> 3a. If you are an existing payment customer yes you can, if you are not then unfortunately it will need to be paid in advance. |
4. Are there any extra charges for paying via Credit Card? (+) |
> 4a. No there are not, you may pay with a credit card if that is what you prefer. |
5. Do you do any Cash in hand jobs? (+) |
> 5a. Unfortunately not, every job has to be subject to VAT. |
My Order (+) |
1. Can i return part of my order clean? (+) |
> 1a. Unfortunately not, the entire order needs to come back either clean or dirty. |
2. I have forgotten some additional items can i add them? (+) |
> 2a. As long as we have the stock avaliable of course you can, if it requires an additional delivery this will most likely need to be charged for however. |
3. I need an invoice when will i recieve this? (+) |
> 3a. Invoices are usually created between 1 and 4 working days after the job has been returned, sometimes it takes longer, especially for breakages. If you are not an account customer you may need to request an invoice. |
4. I booked my job and paid a part payment can i amend my order? (+) |
> 4a. As long as we have additional stock you can add to it, most reductions are also ok subject to it not being less than 96 hours before the order and that the cancelation is not too big. |
5. How do i know if my order is confirmed? (+) |
> 5a. If you have recieved a Hire Contract your order is confirmed, this will be send once the 30% part payment is recieved, or for an account customer we are told that it is going ahead. |
6. When is the latest i can change my order? (+) |
> 6a. The latest you can add is anytime up to the van leaving, reductions can be done up to 96 hours before delivery. |
7. Why beyond 96 hours can i add but not remove items? (+) |
> 7a. Logistically anything done after the job has been packed is a nightmare, Adding a box of extra items is not too bad, removing couple items from each tray is a nightmare. |
8. My order details are incorrect what can i do? (+) |
> 8a. Please contact us and we can amend the details on the order, if it means the location of the event has changes this may affect the price of transport. |
9. When will my order be checked afer it has been returned? (+) |
> 9a. Usually in 1-4 working days, although can vary with how busy we are. Any breakages we will let you know. |
Linen (+) |
1. Do i get any spare linen? (+) |
> 1a. Yes, we have our SOS system, where for every 4-6 cloths you usually get an extra one in case of emergencies. These are to be used in the rare case one of our cloths has a stain, if it is used for any other purpose it will be charged for. Please contact us. |

> 2a. Yes, we have our SOS system, where for every 4-6 cloths you usually get an extra one in case of emergencies. 3. Can i return the linen back clean? (+) |
> 3a. Our cost for linen is inclusive of it being cleaned, so you do not need to clean them. There will not be any discounts for returning it back clean. |
4. How do i look after linen? (+) |
> 4a. Please read the instructions on the linen bags, but the main things are: to keep the cloths dry, and not to use streamers, drawing pins, and candles on the fabric. |
5. I have spilt wine on my linen will i get charged? (+) |
> 5a. Most likely not, almost all wine stains come out, but the moisture is more harmful that the colour, please dry the cloth to stop any mildew developing. |
Placing an order / Getting a quote (+) |
1. How can i place an order? (+) |
> 1a. Either using our online quote, emailing us or ringing us. |
2. Can i get a no obligation quote? (+) |
> 2a. Of course you can, there is no fee and no obligation, just get in contact with us, we will take the least details we can, and we will create your quote. Alternatively do it online. |
3. How far in advance should i book? (+) |
> 3a. This one is a little tricky to pin down, as long as we have it in stock you can place the order the day of the event if you really need to. Cutlery, crockery, plain linen etc a month is usually plenty, furniture & kitchen equipment 3 months. But as soon as possible atleast get a quote in, because we only have a finite amount, and a busy day/weekend can throw these estimates out a lot. |
4. I only have a provisional idea of my order should i book? (+) |
> 4a. In order to confirm an order we take a 30% part payment and we still allow you to make amendments, the items on your job are then yours for that date. The sooner we know the better, its uaully best to get a ball park estimate of what you need and get that done as a quote. You can then amend it as needed. |
5. Can i change my delivery date? (+) |
> 5a. Usually this is ok, subject to us having the stock on that date, prices may alter if the amount of chargable days changes. Please let us know ASAP to try and work it out. |
6. Can i get a price for an extended hire? (+) |
> 6a. Of course you can, there is not any standard charges set out, so it will need to be calculated by us. |
Deliver / Collection (+) |
1. Do we charge for delivery? (+) |
> 1a. Yes unfortunately we have to, there are some ways to get it free depending on postcode and amount spent, or a reduction. The price . |
2. Will you set up all the items? (+) |
> 2a. The chairs and tables we will set up as you direct us to, fridges cookers etc we can put in place, anything boxes or bagged, like cloths, crockery cutlery etc, we will put the box as directed but we will not lay these up. |
3. Will you deliver/collect after 5pm or on weekends? (+) |
> 3a. Most of the time we can, however we will need to arrange a driver to come in specifically to do the job & unfortunately we will need to pass this additional cost on. Please contact for a price. |
4. Can i request my items be delivered at a specific time? (+) |
> 4a. Usually you can request AM or PM as long as we have the order confirmed and full paid by the time the plan is made. Specific hours is possible, although may cost, please enquire with us. |
5. Can i change my delivery date? (+) |
> 5a. Usually this is ok, subject to us having the stock on that date, prices may alter if the amount of chargable days changes. Please let us know ASAP to try and work it out. |
6. Can you deliver to difficult places such as up stairs? (+) |
> 6a. Usually we can, but the additional time it takes to do the job will need to be charged for. |
7. For a weekend job, when do you normally delivery & collect? (+) |
> 7a. Our usual is to delivery on the friday and collect the monday. We also deliver quite a lot on the thursday of which there is no extra cost. We can also collect on the tuesday for no extra cost, although the combination of thurs delivery AND tuesday collection will (unless there is a bank holiday). |
8. An item is broken on delivery? (+) |
> 8a. If you need it replacing please contact us as soon as possible so we can arrange a replacement. |
9. My job is over a weekend with a bank holiday when will you delivery/collect? (+) |
> 9a. We will usually delivery the working day before the bank holiday and collect the day after, but please check with us. |
Gas, Electricity & Safety (+) |
1. Does gas come with your applianaces? (+) |
> 1a. No, gas does not come with the appliances, we offer gas separate if you wish to use us, or you can provide the gas yourself. |
2. Can i supply my own gas? (+) |
> 2a. Yes you can, please make sure that you get propane for the appliances, any problems with your supply of gas we cannot be responsible for. |
3. Are your products Gas Safe checked and PAT tested? (+) |
> 3a. Yes, we have a gas safe engineer that checks all the appliances, aswell as PAT tests that are performed every time an appliance goes out. |
4. Can you supply PAT test certificates and gas safety check sheets? (+) |
> 4a. Yes, However please give us as much notice as possible as it has to be prepared. |
Opening Times / Visitation (+) |
1. Can i just turn up to your venue? (+) |
> 1a. It is extremely disadvised, please give us a call and let us know when you wish to come over. With no warning we cannot guarentee anyone will be able to talk to you, or show you anything, you also may get blocked in by vans. NEVER turn up when we are closed. |
2. Can i organise a visit to come see you? (+) |
> 2a. Yes you can, please let us know what you would like to see or speak about and try and give us as much notice as possible. |
3. Are you open over christmas, new years & Bank holidays? (+) |
> 3a. Generally the answer is no to all these, we would provide you with goods before this date and collect after. But please contact us with any queries. |
4. How do i get to your premises? (+) |
> 4a. Use the postcode IP12 2SB and it should get you to the door using satellite navigation. |
